Sizing Help

Products on our site are provided by different manufacturing partners and may vary greatly from item to item. For example, an XL in one type of t-shirt may be a L or 2XL in another. This is not unique to Buy To Cover. In fact, in 2024 Capital One's metrics reported that 58% of online customers attempted to return clothing due to incorrect fit. The reasons are many:

• Minor variances between manufacturing processes with different fabrics (our sizing guides list our variances).
• Human beings have a wide variance of body types (surprise!).
• Individuals have unique preferences on fit and form even when the 'size is right'.

Buy to Cover is primarily a design business that uses third-party fullfillment vendors to provide print on demand services. We cannot accept returns for incorrect sizing, but want to be transparent about our experiences with sizes and best practices. We want you to love our products as much as we loved designing them!

• If we have a product on our store, we've purchased it, tried it on, and tried to determine if the sizing received match our expectations.
• If a product did not match our expectations, we've removed it.
• There are two guides available - a product dimensions guide (which has up to 2" of variance) and a self-measurement guide. 
• Access these guides by clicking 'Size Guide' on the right of the shopping cart. Remember, these guides are unique to each product.
  
  

• We also recommend measuring a shirt you love and are comfortable in as a means of comparison.
• Use all three points of data to help make the most informed decision about the right size.
